About

Semi-Professional Photographer I say that because I’m just so modest πŸ˜„ …Born in Zimbabwe and having grown up living in various countries like πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡ΌπŸ‡§πŸ‡ΌπŸ‡¦πŸ‡ͺ, settled in the UK for now.

Slowly building up the kind of photography work I like doing the most as I really only started doing this seriously in 2023. I’ve got a background in digital creative work going back 20 years both in print and digital multimedia and definitely familiar around Adobe and Autodesk products like: Photoshop, AfterEffects, 3dsmax and my favorite Maya. I have spent years involved in various digital communities and even helping to develop various software and plugins I’ve come to use. Currently I use Unity and Blender for game development work which is my other side hobby.

This website primary focus is on my photography work, however I do intend to showcase other creative work that I’ve done over the years and future projects. There is an AI section which honestly I do enjoy coming up with interesting scenes and creating prompts to try out different AI models.

Anyway some of the photo’s you’ll see here…

-Landscapes and scenic countrysides
-City buildings and good architecture
-Wildlife a lot of birds and even pets
-Sunsets and night skies
-And people, who usually get in the way lol😊

I’ve used various cameras and lenses borrowed on trips and holidays before, mainly Sony and Nikon cameras, with a couple of Canon cameras I have tried. I’ve ended up going with a Nikon D500 as my first DSLR with my next one of the list being a Nikon D850, at some point if I carry on down this path in photography I’ll probably look at a mirrorless setup. For now though this is my kit…

This Sigma 50mm f1.4 DG HSM Art is great for portraits, and making boring things look interesting with amazing (bokeh) blur behind focused things.

The Nikon 28-300mm f3.5-5.6 is my main goto lense now, my only wish is that it went to 600mm and had a wider aperture and remained the same size and weight 😊

And Sigma 150-600mm f5-5.6 pictured below is another favorite for long distance stuff like the moon pictures I’ve taken before with it. Though I rarely take this one out for casual photography, unless I’m bringing the tripod stand. As it’s just not practical for shooting while holding it for very long. Though that can be done, I definitely get attention carry this beast of a lense and shooting with it 😊 generally I prefer going with a lighter lense like the Nikon 28-300mm which you can carry around and use for hours instead.

And lastly this Nikon DX 18-150mm kit lense, I don’t use this much at all anymore however it’s still a good backup for the Nikon D500.
